Achievements
During my work with BMIC, we shifted 10% of our sales volumes delivered to Lower Egypt to Upper Egypt (higher market prices and profit margins), in addition we introduced Sulphate Resistance Cement (SRC) product with the higher profit margin compared to OPC product and sales was directed to Upper Egypt. Eventually, we were able to achieve our objective to increase company profit margin. While working with Master Builders Technologies- BASF, I succeed to propose and implement local manufacturing of bridges’ expansion joints; which is supplied through bidding to governmental companies. Being the only local manufacturer gave my company an edge with competitors, who used to import expansion joints from Europe, and we were able to increase our profit margin from 14% to 45%, in addition we were able to win many bids and increase market share in expansion joint segments to 60%.
