• Job Details:Cost controller ● Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function ● Support continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities ● Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis ● Work closely with the Purchasing team / committee to ensure purchasing strategies are maximized ● Collaborate with department heads to develop final cost consolidated budget and Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections ● Provide actual/ budget variance analysis report on monthly basis ● Review vendors contracts from financial aspects to ensure better payment terms and conditions ● Managing and controlling projects in relation to the cost baseline ● Conduct projects cost/benefit and other types of analysis ● Account for complete project lifecycle from inception to closure ● Prepare and set & improve cost drivers for cost allocation method among automated system (OFSSA) ● Prepare and execute IFRS16 for International reporting with mother company ● Manage mortgage tax with tax consultant ● Manage the Portfolio of Assets reverted to the Bank in Settlement of Debt ● Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures to Enhance Efficiency Ratio against peers ● Manage, coach and develop a high performing cost team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements ● Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities Key Successes: ● Member of Purchasing Committee which assist in developing cost rationalizing methodology in all aspects of purchase ● Review and provide full recommendation to CFO/ Deputy CFO for all IT proposal before final approval Education & Professional Development ● MBA: Arab Academy for Science & Technology, Alexandria –Egypt (September 2005) ● Major in Business : Alexandria University, Faculty of Commerce (1994) ● Ongoing study : Diploma of International Financial Reporting Standards Additional Information ● Technical skills Microsoft Excel ,Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Word ● Analytical Thinking, detailed ordinated , planning and organizing ,
