This role consists of three main function: 1- Budgeting Planning: (500M EGP) • Manage the IT yearly budget exercise to ensure all the IT yearly initiatives and operational expenses are covered. • Manage the periodic IT budget reviews to prepare the quarterly forecasts along with Monthly reconciliation. • Communicate with IT top management on impact of any unplanned commitments, shortfalls and recommend corrective actions needed to minimize the IT budget overrun. • Establishing proper budgeting and execution process controls “with a continuous improvement framework” to make sure that all IT expenditures are effectively utilized and executed in timely and cost manner. • Respond to (internal/external) escalations by proper problem/conflict handling and reporting to the concerned parties for investigation and resolution in timely manner. 2- Technical Procurement: • Support Operation Requirements, make sure that the IT departments prepare a clear yearly roadmap to achieve an effective Procurement Management. • Ensure that all IT contracts, service agreements and contracts renewal are acquired through proper vendor negotiation and management process to achieve a win-win relationship with our partners with best possible and cost-effective deals to manage the IT budget by leading all RFPs. • Establishing Etisalat Policies and procedures in all IT procurement Life Cycles as well as the IT project management methodology so that increase the operational efficiency. • Ensure IT department adherence to Etisalat polices and procedure in all procurement activities. • Handle programs/projects management scope across IT department related to Infrastructure projects and System projects across the IT, ISP and Telecom departments 3- Vendor Management: (more than 30 Vendors) • Single point of contact for IT vendors (Oracle, Ericsson, IBM, Teradata, Microsoft, EMC, Cisco etc.) • Manages the vendor on-boarding process to enhance the relationship complying with Etisalat polices. • Respond to (internal/external) escalations by proper problem/conflict handling and reporting to the concerned parties for investigation and resolution in timely manner. • Monitoring Suppliers KPIs on a monthly base to identify and implement improvements. • Quarterly Business Review with main Vendors to check the latest Technologies in the field.
