• Job Details:GoodNews4ME March 2003 till now Senior (Security\Network) Engineer • Configure basic FortiGate outbound and Inbound access rules , NAT, PAT, UTM and security levels for inside network, outside network and DMZ. • Configure IPSEC VPN tunnels between multiple locations throughout Egypt and middle East(Mobily, Zain Bahrin, ksa, Iraqi) by our Cisco ASA and other Non-Cisco devices • Assess threats, risks, and vulnerabilities from emerging security issues. • Install and maintain security infrastructure, including IPS, IDS, log management, and security assessment systems • Configure and manage WAN connectivity provided from multiple ISPs and connected to separate locations (ElAlam Elyoum newspaper, Film&music and party Radio). • Update and modify latest configuration to existing network devices such as Fortigate, Cisco switches, routers and ASA to be most updated and to always meet our business requirements. • Participating in any new network architecture from both design and implementation prospective. • Splitting the users in the entity into four segments using Vlans and dedicate a separate internet connectivity to each segment and configure a customized rules on the fortigate to distribute the internet traffic utilized by each users segment on a separate WAN connection and dynamically switch the users to another backup line if their WAN line failed. • Monitor the LAN and WAN network performance with a variety of Network Management tools. • Deploy and Support multi-vendor network infrastructure such as Cisco, 3Coms and Microsoft. • Improve security systems. Firewall creation and maintenance using Cisco ACL Fortigate, Microsoft ISA Server integrated with GFI Web filter. • Manage VMware Infrastructure/Vsphere clusters on production. • Supported 200+ users across multiple locations, in heavy pressure 24/7 environment .
