Safety Officer

• Job Details:Support the HSE manager and team with planning, coordinating, and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures. Project support to project and operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues. Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters. Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with company policies and procedures as well as client requirements. Ensure training, toolbox meetings, drills are implemented as part of company’s training and HSE plan. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. Manage safety statistic reporting, track and provide regular HSE performance reporting to the department head. Conduct the HSE trainings and orientation to all new employees. Monitor advice and assist to ensure that safe systems of work and procedures are adhered to laws and standards. Inspect all passageways, stairs and fire exits to ensure that they are free from obstructions and comply with the relevant legislation. Implementation of client health and safety standards and regulation. Implementation and preparation of PTW. Carry out a weekly check on all fire alarm systems and function test. Monitoring all firefighting equipment on a monthly basis and record.
