• Job Details:Responsibilities: o Providing translation of different texts from English into Arabic and vice versa, researching information and reports, writing summaries, reports, etc.. o Providing consecutive interpreting during meetings with visiting international delegations, UN delegations, ambassadors or security officers of different embassies in Qatar o Coordinating and liaising with local and national entities (such as MOFA) and other MOI departments on different issues of mutual interest o Sending and receiving correspondences and coordinating with embassies in Doha on different relevant issues o Liaising with international counterparts or entities using email correspondences or phone calls to arrange for meetings and conferences o Member of the Secretariat of Qatar National Counter Terrorism Committee o Translating different documents and particularly legal documents received or issued by the NCTC o Providing consecutive interpreting during different meetings with relevant international entities o Working closely with security liaison officers of different countries on issues of relevance to countering terrorism and violent extremism o Coordinating the different international organizations such as the GCTF, EUROPOL, UNSC, etc. o Reviewing international periodicals on CT o Member of the Secretariat of Qatar WC 2022 Media & Communication Unit o Providing translation and interpreting services on different occasions o Coordinating with security agencies of different countries on sports mega events organization and security o Participated in the preparation and establishment of the IPCC for Doha FIFA CWC 2019

Assistant Lecturer at the English Language Department, Simultaneous Interpreting Section,Full Time

• Job Details:Responsibilities: o Participating in the preparation of course syllabus and materials selection for different translation courses and particularly legal translation courses o Teaching translation courses to undergraduate students of translation o Mentoring students after formative assessments o Participating in the preparation of exams materials based on taught courses o Correcting students’ papers for summative and formative assessments according to evaluation criteria

Senior Legal TranslatorFull Time

• Job Details:Responsibilities: o Handling the administrative load of work such as distributing tasks and writing follow-up reports on the work of junior translators o Translating various types of legal and business documents; court-rulings, contracts, agreements, statements of defense, statements of claim, e-mail sent to our clients, etc….. o Editing and proofreading some large volume translated documents to ensure the harmony and unity of target texts and their correspondence to source texts o Providing consecutive interpreting to attorneys and clients who do not speak English or Arabic o Working closely with partners and attorneys to provide accurate translation and help in drafting English documents with some attorneys who do not speak English fluently o Liaising with international clients via email on behalf of non-English speaking attorneys
