• Job Details:• Supporting the Director - Finance & Treasury in the management of financial operations, including, capital expenditures, taxes, budget variance monitoring and reporting, and operational accounting activities • Reviewing, designing, and recommending to the Director - Finance & Treasury adequate internal controls over the financial activities, highlighting risk factors, and recommending necessary steps to avoid misappropriation of assets and fraudulent financial reporting • Overseeing general accounting and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all accounting data • Accountable for the timely closing of books (monthly, quarterly, yearly) • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports internally to executive management or externally (e.g. for GBC, EFSA, government ministries, etc.), ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements and reports • Responding to inquiries from Management regarding special reporting requests and ensures the timely and accurate generation of these reports • Leading the development and implementation of a management dashboard • Overseeing all financial controls and metrics • Overseeing the efficient management of payables and fixed asset accounting • Managing relationships with external auditors • Communicating, as needed, with all external parties and governmental organizations on fiscal matters • Accountable for the timely completion of reconciliations with suppliers and clients, and inter-group reconciliations • Accountable for the timely and accurate computation and settlement of taxes, and for properly interfacing with tax authorities and with the mother group regarding the settlement of taxes • Coordinating internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
