• Job Details:• Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans • Develop the company’s financial strategies, develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction • Manage the budgeting processes • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies • Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced • Oversee the company's transaction processing systems • Implement financial operational best practices • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company • Construct and monitor reliable control systems and maintain appropriate insurance coverage • Ensure that the finance complies with all legal and regulatory requirements • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations and maintain banking relationships • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts • Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard. • Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company. • Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
