Chief of SecurityFull Time

• Job Details:• Manage the conduct of threat and risk assessments of security operations in the area of responsibilities ensuring that appropriate risk mitigation measures are proactively identified and implemented to ensure the safety & security of the troops. • Conduct appropriate security assessments of critical events venues and advice on shortfalls in security preparedness with recommended improvements and solutions. • Establish and implement access control mechanisms (visitor/vehicle screening) and SOPs as necessary for security sectors based on the security risk assessment. • Plan and coordinate regular execution of critical incidents rehearsals / drills, such as earthquakes, fire evacuation,…etc. • Remain on-call 24/7 to address potential emergency; • Develop and maintain internal and external information networks to enhance the collection/collation of information relating to security plans implementation to develop and update the security risk assessment. • Recommend security rules and procedures to mitigate and manage the risk to security troops enabling security operations execution. • In collaboration with technical units manage the required security equipment to enable security services delivery. • Provide orientation and training to newly recruited officer on security guidelines, communication procedures and emergency procedures. • Facilitate specific security-related training for specific security individuals as per the training analysis and operations needs. • In collaboration with National State Security coordinate and liaise on safety and security matters. • Prepare and update contingency plan of security sector. • Provide security related contributions to the security sector Business Continuity Plan. • Oversight the investigations in cases of breach of Police code of conduct and within sector premises security incidents.

Chief of OperationsFull Time

• Job Details:• Management of the Police Joint Operation Center staff recruitment, training, work plan, budget center. • Operate the crisis management center as the need arise providing a venue and support for the public security, and support the operations with effective and uninterrupted channels of communication, reporting, and information management. • Provide the sector’s 24/7 center for all security operations by maintaining a continuous watch over all integrated operations involving the security forces • Coordinate with all the security components as appropriate to establish efficient channels for the collection and analysis of security information and intelligence to collate and disseminate information of immediate operational interest to provide consolidated daily operational reports to Senior manager. • Provide a 24/7 communications link between the senior management and police apparatuses to ensure the submission of operational reports and information from all relevant mission components. • Preparing and review of the sector daily situation report, and dispatch the Situation report accordingly; as well, significant incident reports (flash reports) to senior managers.

Civilian PoliceFull Time

• Job Details:• Maintaining civil law and order with executive police powers during an initial period . • In cooperation with OSCE, recruit, train and organize a Kosovo Police Service. • Securing & monitoring the tranquility and the maintenance of law and order in the vicinity of the voter registration offices and polling stations and to monitor that no person is denied entry into the aforementioned centers for the purpose of registration or voting. • Successfully conducting the training of the local police & evaluate their performance.
