Senior Network and System Engineer

• Job Details:Collaborate with team to install upgrade and maintain local site infrastructure VMs and services (DHCP, DNS, proxies). Configuration management and change control of network infrastructure including routers, catalyst switches, packet shapers, firewalls and IDS/IPS. Manage all aspects of network security (load balancers, firewalls). Administration of switches, configuration of firewalls, set-up of VPN connections administration of load balancer systems. Design and installation of LAN and WAN infrastructure. Plan, design, install and maintain networks and servers in support of information systems. Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including server hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement. Manage the daily backup process to ensure the data for all sites are successfully backed up. Create the necessary documentation on systems and processes. Conduct technical interviews with the IT junior level.

Network and System Engineer

• Job Details:Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Operate expert consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use. Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records. Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Recommend changes to improve systems, network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes. Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems. Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future. Train people in computer system use. Load computer tapes and disks and install software and printer paper or forms. Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement. Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records. Research modern technology and implement it or recommend its implementation. Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs. Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases. Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues. Maintain computer systems and function as support if any system goes down. Responsible for PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configuration as needed. Assist with onboarding inexperienced users. Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users. Install, configure, and upgrade PC software. Supporting ERP in functional activities. Creating and saving MS SQL queries for reporting.
