Maintenance Engineer

• Job Details:Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities on heavy duty machines and trucks. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and all types of electrical and hydraulic schematics. Supervising overhauling operations of different types of diesel engines and troubleshooting fuel systems of a large variety of trucks such as MAN, Mercedes Benz, Howo and Renault, and heavy earth moving machines including Caterpillar excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, dumpers, compactors, in addition to Dynapac and Vogele pavers and others. Diagnosing electrical faults of heavy earth-moving equipment and trucks mentioned above and troubleshooting electrical systems using different scanning tools, wiring diagrams and testing techniques. Inspecting hydraulic systems of heavy-duty machines and trucks, troubleshooting hydraulic systems and testing hydraulic components using different types of pressure gauges and flowmeters. Repair and overhauling hydraulic elements including a large variety of pumps, valves and manifolds. Maintenance, repair and servicing air systems such as piston and screw air compressors such as Atlas Copco, Deutz and Rotair. Store organization and management: controlling the store in/out spare parts flow and maintaining an accurate store inventory and a safety stock. Purchasing spare parts and following up with local and international suppliers. Communicating with sites. Preparing daily and monthly workshop activity reports.
