- Job Details:* Responsible for the complete operation of the Kempinski Emerald Palace hotel, Palm Jumeirah that consists of 389 guest rooms, 30 suites, 8 Villas, 12 restaurants and 7 ballrooms/meeting rooms in terms of all technology aspects and projects (HSIA Wi-Fi & wired, Opera PMS & Sales & Catering v.5.5.00.03, Simphony POS, IP Telephony, Interactive T.V., Digital Signage, Payroll System, Oracle 11G,..etc.) * Responsible Responsible for the complete operation of the Kempinski Residences and Hotel Apartments, Palm Jumeirah which consists of 244 hotel apartments, 12 Villas, 4 restaurants and 3 ballrooms/meeting rooms. * Fully responsible for both hotels converged IP network along with the IP Telephony, HSIA and video conferencing facilities, ERP, CRS, Cloud Services, BI System, Microsoft Servers (Exchange, SQL, Office, ...etc). * Evaluates and plans projects, manage timelines, deliverables and objectives and insure all project deliverables are completed (technical system designs, test plans, implementation plans, executive summaries, change control and scheduling of tasks, etc.). * Listens to the departments' needs and requirements whether in enhancing the current available systems or by introducing new systems and recommend alternative system options. * Prepare the ICT budgets, CAPEX and five years plan, submit them to the head office while coordinating with other Heads of Departments to ensure that they are implemented. * Study and research for alternate dynamic and cost-saving solutions those are feasible. * Negotiation and purchasing of all computer equipment, supplies and maintenance contracts and ensure smooth installation without influencing the current system in use. * Assist in recruiting the operating IT staff and arrange for them proper training, coaching, mentoring and the career development of all the IT staff. * Feasible study of hardware systems and application systems that is best suited, forecasting the business volume of the company in the future. * Responsible for the Micros POS system operation for more than 7 outlets including the network and workstations troubleshooting (Simphony & Micros 9700).
