Job Details:• Preparation of workshop drawings, instructions of assembly, welding details and tables. • Setting shipbuilding strategies and building schedules. • Review of basic structure design and modifying it to meet the required strength and the available steel sections in the local market. • Full structural design calculations for platforms, pontoons, barges to ensure the required deck loading. • Design of lifting eye pads and lifting plans for major ship blocks. • Light weight estimation, mooring system design and piping system design. • Design modifications and assessment, related to the national and international standards. • Preparation of technical specs for new contracts and tenders. • Communication with all foreign owners, consultants and superintendent. • Design of hull lines, general arrangement, structure and propulsion for new ships and tenders based on owner requirements, statuary regulation and calculations. • Review and conduct stability calculations, to ensure adequate stability, draft and trim for different types of vessels.
