  • Job Details:•Responsible for the overall operation (budget, service, people EHS, strategy) for Egypt Distribution Center in Avon Egypt. Responsible for all Distribution related activities (Merchandising, shipping, warehousing, returns, etc) for Egypt market, Ensuring timely and accurate representative order fulfillment, Driving the optimum cost / service model. The areas of responsibility of this position include all activities in the Branch including Warehousing (Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping lines supply and/or replenishment and DC Replenishment, Inventory Control, Return Goods, Finish Goods Warehousing) & Shipping (Picking, Productivity, Quality, Packing and Assemble Zone Mangers Material) and all outbound logistics activities to ensure the product reaches the representative. Prepare and present all kinds of necessary reports that includes forecasts and inventories for reports. • Direct, lead and manage the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of material, starting from receiving the forecast of replenishment needs, the delivery of the finished products into finished goods, the inventory till the delivery of products to customers. • Responsible for Local manufacturing (third party manufacturer) versus imported from Avon manufacturing locations, new local product development for local production, MRP (Material planning for local production) dealing directly with Avon raw ingredients & components suppliers in Europe; Dealing with Avon approved local suppliers. Managing third party manufacturer & its quality assurance; Controlling Raw ingredients & components warehouses at TPM stores & use it as base for planning. Managing all the logistics of supplying RI & components TPM stores. Managing consolidation points in Europe & ensuring the logistics costs are minimal & all the shipments are cost effective. Managing transportation of TPM production to DC. • Responsible for Avon Egypt product costs including the imported finished goods & local TPM production. Responsible for Egypt yearly cost book establishment & implementation of standard costs for TPM and importation (including all duty, freights, mark up, etc.). & Responsible for Implementing processes and procedures necessary for timely and accurate monitoring & control of all financial aspects of the TPM operation (inventory, obsolescence, wastage, invoicing, etc.). • Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved in-stock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead times), systematic forecasting, efficiency improvement with vendors and within the fulfillment centers. • responsible for ongoing review of inventory and obsolescence, identification and escalation of risks/opportunities & responsible for driving all the IT/systems aspects of inventory systems and Monitor the ways of identifying opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new raw materials, reduce wastes and can even convert waste into by-products. • Plan, organize and coordinate securing the Marketing Needs to achieve the Sales Plan and increase the Customer Satisfaction include Daily Following Up for the sales Trend , availability and Working Closely with Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, IT, Regulatory and operation to secure the Availability for the products on Time to increase the Sales opportunity . • Analyzing the inventory monthly basis through studying the trend of the campaign to see how we can support the company to increase the sales. • Ensure that the Purchase Orders / Order Confirmations received at are promptly scrutinized and acknowledged • Internal Controlling the warehouse by Following the Expiration of Products to push the Marketing to Plan The Risky Inventory we may have • Trace and Follow up the physical counts (annually , Quarterly ) • Provides financial and statistical reports on timely bases expressing the product flow, budget and status of the warehouse and analyze Inventory reports, limits, safety stock. • Prepare, review and discuss the warehouse budget and annual Merchandise, inventory targets bases on the latest SOS and LID targets.. •= Develop, implement and update policies, procedures and regulations of operating systems, health and safety of the storage process according to work needs. • Provide all necessary requirements to ensure proper flow of warehouse operations and keep proper flow of material and continuous update in relevant records as well as ledgers. • Ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, QC and timely dispatch of good • Ensure all stock control systems and processes are fully implemented and that KPIs are achieved • Ensure a robust IT system is in place thus ensuring an efficient warehouse operation whilst analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements in line with forward business needs • Ensure Health and safety procedures are put in place to safeguard both employees and stock and follow the SSPR, BC
