- Job Details:- Following is a list of key projects achieved: 1. KNPC – HR Transformation Project – Kuwait April 2009 – Dec 2010 Tamer was assigned as an ERP Techno-Functional SME, he was part of IT Delivery Work Stream in HR Transformation Project (Known as BEST). BEST was a strategic project undertaken by KNPC to transform its HR Departments practices with the objective of eliminating all its non-value add activities. This entailed implementing a new HR Service Delivery Model, and automating the HR processes by the implementation of Oracle HRMS (the implementation covered assessing and implications of this large scale implementation on all cross-functional processes with the Finance Department) and managing the expectation of the numerous stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance and the end users form the refineries (5000+ employees). Responsibilities: Development of the overall Application Blueprint for implementing the approved business solution within KNPC. Business requirements definitions and configuration of system as per the approved Application Blueprint. Develop business scenarios and conduct Conference Room Pilots, Key Users Training, User Acceptance Tastings, and manage Go-Live activities for the agreed solution. Develop required customizations in accordance with Oracle Applications Coding Standards. Develop required Self-Service Personalization. Assessed the implemented HR solution on key touch-points with Finance (Oracle Financials and Payroll). Develop data migration strategy and data mapping for uploading historical data into newly implemented Oracle HRMS Applications, including Preparation of Tested Scripts to validate data migration before moving to Production. Prepare periodical progress reports and present data to Top Management in progress review meetings. 2. KOC - Oracle Finance Cost Allocations Reconfiguration, and Processes Diagnostic Review and Recommendations Project Jan 2011 – May 2011 KOC Cost Allocations assignment was a critical engagement which required the project team to comprehend the cost allocation methodology implemented at KOC, and to synchronize the business with the Finance system (Oracle Financials). KOC adopted a multi- step complex allocation model to allocate the costs of operations to the lowest producing Asset Level. Responsibilities: Review new proposed clients’’ cost allocations business model and assess its implications on existing configured Mass Allocations, the required changes, and its adaptability (functionality) within Oracle General Ledger (GL). Re-configure the existing Mass Allocations setups (including management reports) in Oracle GL in line with the new Cost Allocation model. Develop business test scripts and conduct Conference Room Pilot (CRP) Workshop with KOC Finance Business Users & IT to obtain their feedback and initial approval for the configured solution. Configure the approved Mass Allocations solution in KOC Production Systems. Train Finance process owners on the new model within Oracle system and develop training materials. Post Go-Live support for a total of 4 man-days. 3. ERP System Selection Project – MoA (Ministry of Awqaf) May 2011 - Sep 2011 Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has embarked on a project to select an ERP solution to improve its business processes and to automate them with an implementation of an ERP system to enhance the internal administration, controls and services. Responsibilities: Review the current MOA business procedure documentation for key functional areas. Review and document the AS-IS business process for the Finance and HR Functions. Develop the To-Be business processes for the Finance and HR Functions. Assess current MOA IT systems and application’s flexibility, integration, strategic benefits in light of relevant leading practices and the developed To-Be business processes
