        • Job Details:Responsible for overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). Leading the QA/QC activities related to the engineering function. Maintain the ISO 9001 certification for the organization since 2006, through external audits from different certification bodies (BSI, DNV and TUV) 1. Quality Control Duties: Establish and maintain the QC procedures since 2012 (as the QC role was assigned to me on this year) Ensure that the engineering procedures comply with relevant parts of ISO 9001 requirements, organization quality policies and objectives. Create, document and implement QC inspection criteria and procedures Key member in the KOM committee that participate in the preparation for the kick off meeting of each project Oversee the QC inspection activities for the engineering deliverables throughout the execution cycle. Supervise a team of quality control inspectors that engaged in inspection and testing activities to meet the quality standards Interpret quality control philosophy to staff within the organization. Take proactive role in understanding the engineering quality issues and suggest solutions. Monitor and report engineering quality related KPIs 2. Quality Assurance Duties : Ensure that the document control procedure is adopted to update, review and approve all changes to critical documents within the scope of the QMS. Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the QMS is being followed Ensure that the performance of the QMS is reviewed at planned intervals for continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. This review means assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the QMS. As a consequence, updated the QMS several times throughout this period.  Ensure that Quality Objectives are set by top management for measuring the performance of the QMS and that they are regularly reviewed.  Ensure that the staff is inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities.  Ensure that all suppliers used by the organization are selected and evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained.  Ensure that top management undertakes regular assessment of customer satisfaction and the consequent improvements are identified and implemented.  Ensure that an internal auditing program is adopted to verify how efficiently the quality management system is implemented.  Ensure that the evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.  Investigate all customer complaints and report the corrective action taken to provide a satisfactory solution.  Liaise with other function managers to ensure that the quality system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the quality manager advises on changes and ensure their implementation  Monitor implementation of engineering quality system through systematic quality reviews. Ensuring projects plans are created and maintained, deliverables tracked against time and cost, and resource utilization is monitored  Make sure that each project progresses as per schedule and on budget.  Ensure the timing and quality of deliverables  Provide both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks and issues  Review closed projects, make use of findings, give recommendations to new projects  Ensure that all projects follow standards that are mandated by the global engineering management.
