Drilling EngineerFull Time

• Job Details: Deployed on Rig "Discoverer-3" of KS Drilling with 1500 HP capacity for a Development Well "Bhangali-3" in North Potohwar region of Pakistan, whose total vertical depth is 12,474 Ft and assisting Company Man as Drilling Engineer in day to day operations. Water consumption management, inspection and working on various tools including Drilling bits, Drilling collars, BHA (Bottom Hole Assemblies), Top Drive system, Kelly system, Mud Circulation system including Shale Shakers, Degassers, Desanders, Desilters, Mud Mixers, Mud Pumps, Manifold choke, Draw works, Installation of Float shoe and Collar in the casing, creating tally's for the casing after measurement. Exposure of Hoisting equipment, Rotary Equipment, Installation of Casing Head, BOP Stack / Diverter system, formation integrity tests and well calculations including all tubular equipment regarding capacity, volume and displacement. Mitigating Influxes, Kicks and pipe sticking problems and deploying Well Control procedures, dealing with hydraulics. Experiencing Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) by applying back pressure to control ECD to mitigate with gains and losses, UBD (Under balance Drilling) as well.  Reporting to Company Man/ Night Company man about all the drilling activities and rig components.  Familiarizing with all the equipment, machinery, drilling material provided by the Company.  Understanding the drilling program prepared by head office.  Checking availability of the drilling equipment at the location including but not limited to: Drill bits, drilling tools, casings and their accessories for the quantity, types and grades, Wellheads, testing plugs etc. along with their technical specifications and suitability to be used.  Learning how to prepare trip and kill sheets.  Coordinating between Company men, service providers and the procurement departments in technical matters.  Planning ahead about availability of drilling materials.  Maintaining inventory of the drilling equipment and suggest short falls to Company man.  Preparing daily, weekly and monthly expense/cost estimates of drilling and allied services
