• Job Details:Working on construction site, assists the Site Manager with implementing civil engineering practices and related standards. • Checks QA/QC procedures to ensure quality control performed by others is properly implemented throughout the construction activities • Ensures that the construction activities are performed in accordance with shop drawings. • Monitors contractor’s daily performance relative to the agreed safety and quality plans. • Reviews standards for materials and equipment to ensure they are in accordance with the specifications and LEED sustainability plan. • Performs constructability, buildability, and maintainability reviews. • Reviews shop drawing and construction-phase submittals when issues arise. • Reviews design drawings and specifications as required. • Writes reports related to the progress of the civil works and to safety issues of the project. • Reports to Site Manager
