• Job Details:Implemented a driving policy algorithm for an autonomous AGV droid platform. - Lane detection and tracking using image processing techniques (OpenCV) - Sign detection algorithm using a YOLO network with Mobilenet backend - Object detection using ultrasonic sensors fusion · Contributed to preparation of software for a distributed network of Arduino sensor/actuator nodes operating over CAN bus and exchanging data with higher driving policy layer via an inter-operability framework. · Implementation of a Linux ground station for cloud computation. · Used Flask, html and JavaScript to create a user interface for easy user interaction with the droid. · Participated on AGV platform system design, assembly, power management and distribution, system HW/SW integration, end-to-end testing and verification, troubleshooting and issue resolution. · Working under an agile process setup within the project. · Utilizing available DIY workshop to resolve assembly and integration issues on the AGV platform. · Gained exposure to communication protocols, CAN, UART, Ethernet, HTTP and MQTT.
