• Job Details:Network Design and Implementation: We worked on network design projects using tools like Cisco Packet Tracer, applying techniques such as VLANs, Inter-VLAN Routing, and DHCP to ensure secure and efficient communication between devices. Firewall Configuration and Analysis: We worked on setting up firewalls using Fortinet and Cisco ASA, applying security policies like NAT, VPN, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to protect the network from potential threats. Server Setup and Troubleshooting: We configured Windows Server and Active Directory, as well as setting up Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP to improve network and server management. Security Testing and Assessments: We participated in security testing for the company’s networks, simulating attacks and analyzing vulnerabilities to identify weak points and implement security solutions. Virtualization Setup: We set up virtual machines using VMware Workstation to test operating systems and monitor network performance across multiple environments. Training Workshops and Documentation: We were tasked with preparing technical reports on completed projects and writing documentation for setup and troubleshooting processes. We also conducted training workshops for colleagues to introduce them to new systems and networks we had implemented.
