- Job Details:Assisting the Area Director of Marketing & Communications for the development and effective implementation of marketing and promotional strategies for the positioning of four properties (Grand Rotana Resort & Spa, Coral Beach Rotana Resort Hurghada, Coral Beach Rotana Resort Tiran and Coral Beach Rotana Resort Montazah) as highly desirable to its identified target market and within the parameters set by Rotana, whereby my role will include key responsibilities such as: - Communicate information about the hotels services, facilities, events and colleagues in a positive manner to the market place - Assist the Area Director of Marketing & Communications in developing an annual marketing & communications plan for the promotion of rooms and food & beverage goals on a monthly basis - Assist the Director of Marketing & Communications in establishing effective relation with agencies to devise and maximize publicity materials (printed collaterals, radio campaigns, advertising, etc.) - Assist in sourcing sponsorship from various companies, banks, airlines, etc. for promotions - Liaise and coordinate with the advertising agencies and media companies - Overlook all press releases and maintain a constant supply of articles for the media partners - Ensure all outgoing correspondence is distributed to the highest possible standards - Assist the Area Director of Marketing & Communications in formulating all marketing collaterals including the hotel newsletter, direct mails, leaflets and handouts - Assist in handling events with the concerned departments within the hotel to make sure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts - Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors - Assist in maintaining an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions - Assist in the production of all promotional material, including gathering of supporting data and collateral material - Assist the Area Director of Marketing & Communications in developing and increasing traffic through direct and semi-direct online channels that will improve the overall revenue for the four properties and other key financial and customer matrix - Assist the Area Director of Marketing & Communications in evaluating the performance of our branded website and give suggestions for how to promote and improve the presence of the hotel on the web, with the intention of increasing number of bookings and keeping the website up to date - Monitor, implement and execute the active presence of the four properties on all Social Media tools to maximize the online exposure of the properties - Monitor and develop e-newsletters pertaining to the four properties and maintain all online channels to be accurate and brand compliant according to company standards. - Conduct regular quality assurance audits on the hotel’s descriptive content & images to ensure parity on all channels and integrity with brand website. - Identifying and evaluating new marketing opportunities to increase direct internet traffic as well as monitoring the online presence as well as rate position of immediate competitors - Managing four Facebook pages for the four properties, as well as one Instagram account, two Twitter accounts and one Pinterest account.
