• Job Details:Project: Kandy North Pathadumbara Water Supply Project, Kandy, Sri Lanka Project Detail: Construction of 27 no’s of RCC water reservoirs + 22 Pump Stations + Water Treatment Plant [Filtration unit + Clear Water Reservoir (2750m3) + Flocculation & Sedimentation unit (7,600m3) + Sludge Lagoon + A4 pump house] + 571Km HDPE Pipe Laying + 83Km DI Pipe Laying (Up to 1100mm dia.) + Intake structures Project Cost: USD 194.8 million USD International funds + LKR 8.35 billion LKR Local funds Water Treatment Capacity: 115,000 m3/Day (42 mcm/year) Roles & Responsibilities: • Working as a Senior Civil Engineer in the technical department of the company • Preparation of all civil construction method statements • Preparation of monthly reports & two weeks ahead plan • Solve the site team problems Providing technical advice and suggestions as the technical engineer, coordination with the design team • Review & issuing technical solutions to sub-contractors • Calculating all pipe fittings (bends, valves, washouts, couplings, flanged pipes…etc) considering each dia. & each PN in the entire project for import from the Factory • Review revised drawings & as built drawings • Coordination with client, design team, management, sub-contractors & site staff to comply with the specifications of the project • Technical submission control & record maintaining • Participating weekly meetings with clients • Organize and control the project according to schedule and specifications • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
