Monitoring environmental performance and identifying areas for improvement. Coordinating with various departments to integrate environmental considerations into business operations. Providing training and guidance to staff on environmental best practices. Providing training and guidance to staff on Chemical Management & chemical handling. Responding to environmental incidents or emergencies and implementing corrective actions. Responding to Spill incident and implementing corrective actions. Keeping abreast of environmental laws, regulations, and industry trends. Conducting an annule assessment of the company using Higg Index. Conducting a monthly assessment of the company using The BHive for Chemical inventory. Conducting environmental measurements of work area to ensure that the organization complies with environmental law, eg., measuring the heat stress, lighting intensity, noise intensity, and concentration of gases emitted (NO2, CO2, SO2, TVOC, CO) Daily follow up for ETP Unit performance and ensure that the organization complies with environmental law, eg., measuring (TDS,TSS,PH value,COD,BOD,TP,TN Conductivity&Salinity) Maintain a real-time updated chemical inventory and goods (garments) inventory at the washing plant. Maintain the chemical inventory according to ZDHC chemical compliance requirements. Keeping wastewater test reports/ZDHC chemical inventory reports up to date
