• Job Details:• Planning and supervising all port activities. • Anticipating issues which may have had impact on loading and/ or discharging operations. • Handling Negotiations. • Supervising and/or overlooking documents preparation i.e.: Bills of Lading, Manifests of Cargo, • Overlooking the issuance of Statements of Fact and other relevant cargo documents. • Directing the issuing of invoices for husbandry services rendered to vessels. • Problem solving of all matters while vessels stay in the port. • 24/7 on call availability in case of urgent matters. • Supervising immediate presence on board of the vessel in case of unforeseen problems occurrence. • Troubleshooting problems with cargo availability and arrivals of cargo. • Overseeing of cargo discharging and loading operations. • Coordinating activities of all parties involved. • Pricing the services rendered • Negotiating with ship services providers • Overseeing spare parts processing and deliveries to the vessels docked in shipyards. • Administering for ships parts transportation from quay storage to final destinations as required. • Administering for Signing off and on crew members, as well as the arrangement of Egyptian transit visas and other necessary travel and legal documents. • Piloting and managing of any special services tendered to the vessel/ ship • Arranging and overseeing special loading/ discharging operations as required by vessel/owners • Developing and managing project schedules and costs • Overseeing project fieldwork • Communicating, maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new clients. • Communicating, maintaining and developing relationships with vendors and partners to effectively execute fieldwork.
