• Job Details:• Administer and maintain VAS systems and LAN network through continuously monitoring its performance, handling errors and faults to ensure maximum availability and minimal costly downtimes. • Secure assets from unauthorized access and modifications, and audit all activities on servers and network. • OS [Redhat, Solaris], DB [Postgree] and applications installations and configurations. • Handle customer complaints and troubleshoot network/system alarms. • Handle standard UNIX/Linux services like SSH, FTP, NFS, NIS, LDAP, DNS, Samba, DHCP. • Perform different types of data backups and ensure we can restore it correctly if needed. • Installing and configuring SAN/NAS volumes. • Responsible on network surveillance activities on different network nodes. • Perform shell scripting to ease and automate system logs monitoring process. • Check and evaluate hardware status for servers and network elements. • Follow up and integrate with other teams during any night activities.
