• Job Details:In my position as a Senior Information Systems & Database Administrator at LARU, I was responsible of the following: - Administration of the databases including performance monitoring, tuning, indexing and troubleshooting using (SQL Server Profiler and Tuning Advisor). - Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans. - Performing ongoing database maintenance tasks (ensuring database integrity, maintaining indexes, automating routine database maintenance). - Ensuring database availability. - Creating database objects such as tables, stored procedures, views and triggers as required. - Authenticating and authorizing users and auditing SQL Server environment. - Creating complex queries that allow bulk inserts, updates and deletes without violating any data consistency or integrity constraints / rules. - Sustaining data consistency, integrity and performing all needed data cleansing operations. - Building and designing all the reports and key performance indicators KPIs for all the existing systems using SSRS, SSAS. - Developing all needed (Extract, Transform, Load) ETL packages that populates the database with massive volumes of data and exports data to be integrated in different information systems using SSIS/DTS. - Administrating all in-house/outsourced information systems, managing systems permissions, assuring systems availability, troubleshooting unexpected behaviors and cooperating with the developing parties to restore as quickly as possible. - Taking part in the preparation and execution of technical tests. - Participating in analysis, design and testing of information systems with different companies. - Providing training for all types of users. - Providing on job training and knowledge transfer for the second line of database and information systems administrators.
