• Job Details:Federation of Economic Development Associations - FEDA, Egypt, Jan, 2016 – Present Project Coordinator, Empowering Small Business to Close the Implementation Gap, 2018-2019 With this project, FEDA conducted a comprehensive study of the implementation gap with regard to Industrial License law No.15, 2017. Drawing upon the conclusions of the study and an intensive series of consultations with the SME community, government, and parliament, making recommendations as to specific regulations that will help ensure implementation of the forthcoming Industrial license law. - Follow up and monitors the development and implementation of project plans and activities and reports to Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in behalf of FEDA. - Identifying and reaches out to relevant public and supports cooperation, regular contact and dialogue with partners such as the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), and cooperates with relevant private sector and Industrial Developers. - Support the design, preparation and implementation of workshops, focus groups and other events on issues connected to the Activity Field. Local Advisor, Labour Market Access Programme (LMAP), 2017-2019 The GIZ Labour Market Access Project (LMAP) is being implemented on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) – to raise awareness about job quality and to support SMEs in getting access to services that meet their needs and demands in this field. Its success lie in establishing close networks with SMEs nationwide, thereby significantly influencing employment potentials. Piloted in the Suez Canal region by the Federation for Economic Development Associations (FEDA) and its member associations and aspires to disseminate around other governorates in Egypt. - Supports the development and implementation of program monitoring and evaluation systems, frameworks, methodologies, tools, analysis and reporting, in line with donor requirements. - Promotes innovation and knowledge management among the team members. - Conducts research tasks and collects information that support the progress of the media related publishing. Project Coordinator, Expanding Economic Participation by Reducing Informality, 2016-2017 To raise public awareness of market institutional reforms necessary for growth and prosperity in Egypt, and to engage the public and private sectors in dialogue to advance free market economic reforms. CIPE supported Federation of Economic Development Associations (FEDA) to raise awareness of the causes and consequences of informality in the Egyptian economy, and to build consensus around solutions. - Follow up and monitors the development and implementation of project plans and activities and reports to Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in behalf of FEDA. -Suggests necessary changes and initiatives that improve targets results of the Activity Field.
