• Job Details:Manage MEP designs and implementation, including plumbing (Hot Water, Sewerage, Drain waste and vent piping and PEX piping), cooking gas lines, access control systems, home automation systems and ELV System from initiation through successful closure for new projects and renovations. Ensure that all building systems are in safe working order and in line with current regulations. Prepare site instructions relating to building MEP services as required and issue them to PM. Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, among PM during construction. Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.

Project - Gafoor building restoration, Fire, Gas and ELV 107 years old 4 storey wedge building metamorphose in to hotel Project. Review of Contract technical requirements including Client’s specifications. Assists in establishing the detailed project execution plan and the development of the overall project engineering budget and schedule under supervision. Coordinates engineering efforts with other engineering offices, Procurement, Construction, Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H) and QC/QA when assigned.

• Job Details:Energy performance contracting to focus on HVAC Systems using Schneider Electric Building Management System and Oil- free Centrifugal Chillers. Responsible for the design and engineering work of the Schneider Electric Building Management System.Ensure that all project activities are efficiently and cost-effectively executed throughout the project life cycle. To liaise with the clients, consultants, project management team, sub-contractors, and technology providers. To create BMS interface design, implementation, setup, and programming using Modbus, and BACnet protocols. To perform site management for the installation works, inspections, testing, and commissioning and handover of the BMS systems implemented in leading hotel chains and banks in Sri Lanka.
