I’m now working a Senior Project Manager for a mega governmental project located at Taif City. The initial contract value is SR 1.3 Billion. my responsibilities include all on and off site management issues to facilitate the delivery of the project on time, with approved budget and required quality standards.

• Job Details:“Barons Court Sports & Leisure Co. (BCSL) – a joint stock company is developing its project (Alex West) located at the west side of Alexandria City, Egypt of approximate area about 600 Acres (2 500 000 m2) to constitute a comprehensive Sports & Leisure Touristic Resort Community. This unique development is the largest private development within the limit of Alexandria city, it will be developed and controlled to provide the highest quality standards. The goal of this Community is to cater its services and facilities to a specific range of the residential market segment and ultimately offer a prestigious address and a desired destination year-round. The Sports facilities and Golf Course sets the theme for this development thus distinguishing it from other residential communities. The Barons Court comprehensive development shall contain an impressive retail center, 5 stars hotels, an international standard medical center, and other supports facilities that are required for a project of this magnitude.” The total investment cost of the project will reach to Three Billions Egyptian Pound ( about Five Hundred Million USD). During the period from 2005 and so far, completed the construction and then the operation of Radisson Blu hotel of capacity 262 keys, of cost about 200 million pounds, and also completion of construction and finishing work of the Conference Centre of capacity 3000 people, decoration and furniture works are ongoing. In addition to the construction of the first phase and the start of the second phase of 840 residential Villas. Numbers of Villas were sold about 600, of sales value around 850 million pounds, as well as infrastructure work and landscaping, roads and the first phase of the golf course. Responsibilities: 1.Reporting to the Managing Director, managing all technical, non-technical and administrative activities. 2.Setting up the technical and financial plan in cooperation with the different departments. 3.Setting up and monitoring the execution plan to adapt the company’s strategy •Position: Deputy General Manager from Jul 2001to Dec 2000 •Responsibilities: 1.Assist the managing director to manage all activities of the company. 2.Follow up the performance of the different department on daily basis. 3.Assist the managing director to adapt the approved plan of the board of directors. •Position: Engineering Department Manager from Feb 1998 to June 2001 •Responsibilities: 1.Reporting to the Managing director, handling all the engineering and technical activities of Alex West Project e.g., preparing tender documents for: design, supervision, construction and management the different stages of the project. 2.Follow up the progress of the design works with the different consultants.
