Nursing Officer

• Job Details:Rendering total nursing care to patients who are aged and handicapped. Assess physical, psychological, physiological and cognitive status of patients. Administer medication through intravenous, intramuscular injection and oral route and observe for side effects of drugs. Analyze oxygen saturation level and intervene appropriately. Treatment of pressure prone areas to prevent decubitus ulcers. Undertake airway management. Maintain effective communication with colleagues, patients, relatives and visitors. Educate patients/clients, families and caregivers on diagnosis and prognosis, treatment options, disease process and management and lifestyle options. Perform various nursing activities including taking of blood samples, wound dressing and maintaining personal hygiene. Meet nutritional needs of patients by serving food either through oral route or enteral. Promote patient self-care skills through teaching. Meet patient elimination needs by serving bedpan and urinal accordingly. Supervise junior nurses assigned to various nursing tasks or activities. Ensure confidentiality throughout the patient’s stay.

Staff Nurse

• Job Details:Assess patient, plan their care, implement and utilize a patient centered care approach. Follow infection prevention protocols. Management of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of various diseases and disorders. Admitting, discharging and documentation of client’s data. Gives bed bath to patients and ensure the prevention of pressure sores. Monitor vital signs and serve medication. Serve and feed patients. Document patient information after performing nursing activities and report writing. Perform other official duties assigned by a superior officer. Use of standard operating procedures guidelines to tender individualized nursing care. Creates a therapeutic relationship between staff, clients/relatives. Administer blood and blood product after necessary grouping and cross matching done. Close monitoring and observation of patient receiving oxygen therapy. Perform wound dressing and document findings. Monitor intake and output to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance.
