• Job Details:• Education and Development: • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences based on established early childhood education frameworks. • Create a stimulating and safe environment that fosters exploration, curiosity, and creativity. • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting learning outcomes and identifying areas for individual growth. • Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning and communication. • Care and Supervision: • Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that meets the emotional and physical needs of children. • Assist children with toileting, dressing, and other self-care routines. • Maintain a clean and safe environment for children to learn and play. • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. • Administer first aid and respond to emergencies promptly and effectively. • Communication and Collaboration: • Build positive relationships with children and families, fostering open communication and trust. • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and development. • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and collaborate with families to support children's learning at home. • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum and share best practices. • Communicate effectively with other specialists and social workers, to ensure children receive appropriate support. • Professionalism and Administration: • Maintain accurate and complete records of children's progress and development. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. • Comply with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements. • Adhere to the ethical principles and code of conduct of the early childhood education profession. • Conduct oneself professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times. • Additional Responsibilities: • Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing supplies and preparing materials for activities. • Contribute to the overall functioning and positive atmosphere of the nursery. • Participate in the nursery events and activities.
