• Job Details:Responsible for managing global and local shipments. Following up the Carriers invoices and comparing it with the agreed rates. Managing and following the customs clearance process activities. Working cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, supply chain and finance to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes. Supporting warehousing optimization. Performing tasks relating to LCs in the most effective and efficient manner resulting in the lowest cost, highest level of quality and ensuring that the related financial and operational risks are mitigated. Process transactions for issuing LCs,amendment,cancellation,lodgment of claims and payments with in the limit as per the credit policy. Follow –up with retail & finance team to execute bank transfers to meet supplier’s payments on a timely manner as per our agreements. Enter the shipment data on the Nafeza to get ACID number. Enter the data of the customs registration request (46) to obtain the customs certificate number. Smart login using the Nafeza e-Token. Preparing a report consists of two key logistics metrics –the percentage of delivered parcels slit by carrier or target destination, percentage of delivered parcels split by transit time per carrier. Preparing an annual report on purchases every year.
