• Job Details:Job Description: Promote Occupational Health and Safety Awareness. Review and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes and make recommendation to mitigate risks identified. Develop project specific safety programs incorporating Client requirements. Ensure effectiveness of the safety programs in all areas of operations and advice the project manager of safety Matters requiring action. Advise the project manager as soon as possible of any incident. Investigating and reporting on all incidents, injuries and Occupational Health cases. Determine causes of incidents to avoid future Reoccurrence. Prepare, review and maintain of safety control records and statistical data. Develop and monitor a systematic training program in safety for all employees. Liaise with site contractors on all occupational health and safety matters. Perform and arrange for contractor employees site safety orientation. Coordinate site safety activities with contractors Ensure appropriate emergency response capabilities (Fire, Ambulance) Ensure that complete site safety plan/files are maintained Conduct/attend weekly safety meetings Conduct site inspections and review site activities for potential hazards. Check PPE and other safety equipment for contractor use. Assist with medical and security issues Perform other tasks as required by site, project and EHS management. Professional Skills: High ability to manage multiple projects and teams, establish priorities and to accomplish goals and objectives. Great ability to recognize hazards, assess Risk and suggest an appropriate mitigation plan. (Hazop,Risk Assessment) supervision & team leader during SHUTDOWN & COMMISSIONING & STARTUP & DRILLING OPERATION. Great internal and external customer orientation skills, which facilitate the development of good working relationships with internal customers and provide leadership to ensure compliance with all H.S.E regulations. Great project management awareness that provides the ability to participate in project leadership responsibilities such as method statement and report writing, planning, scheduling, and cost control. Extended experience in incident investigation and implementation of countermeasures. Excellent communication skills, as well as, the ability to influence others. Highly assertive with effective presentation, negotiation and team building skills and great attention to detail; Strong PC skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Computer Skills: Operating system ( windows XP - windows vista ) Microsoft Office ( word - excel - power point ) Leadership good example working under pressure Personal interest: Reading Swimming Old music Drawing
