Job description – Foreign Purchasing Manager: Follow up with the sales departments and the warehouse to receive their purchase orders. Contact the suppliers to place the orders and get their offers, negotiate their prices and payment conditions and determine the delivery date and get the order confirmation from the supplier. Arrange the shipping with the forwarder. Follow up with the supplier to secure receiving the original documents for the shipment and deliver the documents to the customs clearance agency and follow up with them till the arrival of the goods. Deliver copy of the purchase order and the packing list to the store keeper. Follow up on the supplier's payment by sending the due invoices to the Accounting Department and Send copy of the bank transfer and the swift to the supplier. Insure the arrival of goods in a condition identical to the ordered items. Negotiate and follow up with the supplier or the insurance company the arrival of either the missing or broken items. · Any other duties as assigned
