• Job Details:- Review and approve the electrical drawings, construction and material specifications to ensure that the design and constructions conform to standards and customer requirements. - - Review and approve special study reports, design calculations and design specifications. - -Review and approve equipment/materials specifications and selection, construction specifications, testing and commissioning procedures. - Coordinate with electrical and other disciplines lead or senior engineers to ensure full compliance of the project electrical design with the requirements specified on project design scope and on the relevant standards. - Review submitted shop drawings and material submittals (and the like) against the drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice - Monitor and report on the production of information with respect to the discipline-related services submittal progress - Attend technical and progress meetings with the contractor/client's representative - Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to the Electrical engineering staff and design work.

Lead Design Electrical Engineer Full Time

• Job Details:Directs the Electrical section and leads engineering duties related to planning and designing the appropriate type of electrical system, electrical devices (eg. circuit, wiring systems, lighting systems, electronic information systems and electrical equipment and components) that fit with the other mechanical systems (Heating, lighting and operating mechanical devices) taking into consideration the principles of electrical energy transmission and power distribution and ensures that mechanical and other systems along with their devices will function safely and economically in line with the agreed upon design criteria, project/client cost requirements, specifications and international industry codes. Key Responsibilities: - Performs the required design within the allocated budgeted hours (as per agreed upon project plan) -Performs the required design tasks with the lowest number of errors (as per internal and external customers’ requirements) with a minimum wastage of time for reworks Customer -Manages and maintains effective relationships with the internal and external customers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors and any other involved parties on the project. -Carries out necessary value engineering analysis and provide assurance to the client that their technical and budgetary requirements are respected in the design Internal Process -Executes endorsed plans and programs to achieve set goals. -Plans and schedules the work and efficiently distributes the work to be done among the allocated hours in order to meet the agreed upon program deadlines -Prepares power load estimated calculations after estimating project mechanical and operational requirements using industry recommended software -Determines the interior and exterior lighting, type of electrical power generations as well as power distribution and prepares electrical design layout -Prepares the electrical designs related to circuiting and panel boards of power, one line diagram of the power system as well as designs related to lighting circuits, control and switching. -Prepares the calculations of the voltage drop, short circuit and load flow of the system using ECODIAL, DOCWIN or any other company software -Selects the right electrical instruments, equipment, facilities and any other electrical component related to the selected electrical system. -Estimates the cost of the selected electrical system and ensures it complies with the customer allocated budget and ensures space allocated for the electrical equipment fit with the electrical design. -Reviews the appropriate standards and ensures all electrical design works meet the international codes (NEC or IEC and SASO…etc). -Considers during the design phase the installation processes that will be taken for the selected electrical instruments, equipment, components and systems to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards -Reviews and evaluates technical submittals and drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project standards -Resolves any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time -Uses and utilizes computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. -Monitors the electrical work on a regular basis to ensure compliance with schedule, production budget, and technical accuracy. Prepares progress reviews reports periodically -Alerts All parties with any changes of scope, lack of information, or decisions taken by the project coordinator/manager or client that affect schedule, production costs, or quality of work -Reviews the performed drawings upon the completion of project milestone and conducts in-house quality control before submittals. High Current: - Capable of performing full distribution system design including Low & Medium Tension Networks, Emergency and Critical Load calculations studies, A/C loads, Plumbing & Fire Fighting loads, Elevators, Switch gears, Transformers, Emergency generator, N.P.S and U.P.S, Sub_ stations, Power fixtures, Sizing and routes of cables/conduits/cable trays and ladders, Short circuit, Voltage drop, Grounding & Lightning protection systems, Indoor-Outdoor Lighting fixtures, Landscape and Façade lighting, Lighting programs and KNX/EIB system. • Low Current: - Fire alarm Systems, CCTV, MATV,AV systems, Access control & Security, Public address, Clock, Telephone system, Home Automation system and Sound system. • Field: - Residential, commercial, educational, airports, leisure facilities, infrastructure, health care, industrial, high rise buildings etc... • Familiar with: Electrical standards/codes: NEC, IEC, BS, NFPA, IESNA, IEEE, CIE, CIBSE, SASO, SEC ,SBC,IBC Standards, Egyptian Code and LEED
