• Job Details:Chemist and head of division for water and wells management department at Al Arish Cement Company. 1 - Supervision and technical follow-up, chemical and administrative work of the laboratory in shifts for ( 24 hours) and review the operation and Maintenance 2 - Knowledge and application of safety and security regulations and rules. 3 - Implementing work regulations and regulations. Mission.. 1. Monitoring daily analyzes with chemists and checking the rate of daily, weekly and monthly chemical analysis. 2. Follow-up chemical washing processes in boilers and desalination units and reverse osmosis. 3. Supervising the preparation of solutions and reagents required for chemical analysis. 4. Monitoring the chemistry of stations and giving instructions to correct any problems. 5. Study the results of daily and non-routine routine analyzes and special analyzes required such as oils and corrosion products. And make recommendations for the safety of operation of the station. 6. Follow up the non-routine work in the morning shift. 7. Review readings and daily records to ensure that the chemistry of stations within the standard specifications. 8. Follow-up inventory of devices, spare parts and utensils used in the laboratory section and calibration and operation of laboratory equipment. 9. Check boilers, turbines, desalination and reservoirs if needed. 10. Participate in conducting new experiments in desalination plants with regard to the use of chemicals. 11. Coordinate with the power engineer, desalination engineer and the auxiliary machinery monitor for the operation of the units from the chemical point of view 12. Prepare annual estimates of the chemicals used in the plant 13. Review and develop methods and schedules of chemical analysis 14. Prepare monthly and annual reports on the consumption of chemicals used in the plant 15. Prepare a request to purchase supplies for the laboratory 16. Preparation of technical reports and analysis results with the necessary recommendations to the head of division. 17. Participate in the study of chemical accidents in order to find appropriate solutions and recommendations 18. Participate in the work of training and testing for new and old employees for evaluation and performance improvement. 19. Reporting performance reports to the head of laboratories. 20. Follow-up of administrative matters for the ladies 21. Preparation of periodic meetings in the operating department. 22. Monitoring the data entry of the computer in the laboratory program.
