• Job Details:From Jan-18 to Present Cost control Engineer Projects: 1. Assiut Combined Cycle Power Plant 1500MW (Orascom & GE Consortium). · Owner: Upper Egypt Electricity Producing Company. · Contract Value: 5,000,000,000 (5 Billion EGP). 2. Assiut Super Critical Power Plant 1x650 MW (CP-102 Orascom). · Owner: Upper Egypt Electricity Producing Company. · Contract Value: 1,680,000,000 (1.68 Billion EGP). Responsibilities: · Study BOQ and project file to prepare the required analyses and breakdowns including material, manpower, equipment and sub-contractors. · Generate project's monthly cost control report according to company’s standard formats. · Analyze project expenses and compare it to budget to highlight any major variance. · Analyze material purchase orders compared to budget as part of review process for the monthly reports. · Monitor the status and actual cost for labor, equipment, sub-contractors and indirects. · Review invoices status on monthly basis and highlight any major figures. · Attend periodic meetings with the project management team to discuss the issues related to cost report. · Coordinate with different departments to prepare budget zero. · Prepare Forecast for each item in the Project in consultation with project team with study of project time schedule. · Prepare cash flow and submit monthly status analysis for financial reasons. · Prepare Cost Plan for the Project. · Generate monthly KPI’s reports to help project manager in optimizing staff on site. · Prepare ad-hoc cost reports when required in coordination with related parties. · Estimate any costs related to variation orders. · Assist in preparing the provisions and analysis of any costs related to claims. · Allocate all materials consumed in site to cost accounts through P2P system (Procure to Pay). · Calculate accrual (Committed) cost for the project on a monthly basis to provide support for Accounting Department. · Coordinate with T.O Department and Procurement Department while negotiation with vendors and sub-contractors to review prices and compare it with budget. · Lead and support a team of cost control assistants.
