• Job Details:As a Tooling Engineer, I am responsible for the design and manufacturing of sheet metal dies for automotive filtration components, including oil filters and air filters. My responsibilities include: Designing progressive, compound, and deep-drawing dies using SolidWorks (Certified SolidWorks Associate – CSWA). Performing die maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime in production. Applying Lean Manufacturing principles to improve tool performance, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement. Managing the tooling workshop, including overseeing parting line corrections, worn component replacements, and urgent repairs. Collaborating with production and quality teams to solve tooling-related issues and enhance manufacturability. This role combines hands-on technical work with problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration, allowing me to contribute to the full lifecycle of die development and maintenance.
