• Job Details:Mapso Marine Propulsion & Supply is a pioneer company with over 45 years of Experience specialized in serving the marine industry and has subsidiaries in the UAE (Mapso Marine DMCC in Dubai) and the Netherlands (Mapso Engineering BV). It is the Authorized Agent in Egypt for Voith, Scania, Yanmar, ZF, Kohler, FFS, Hamilton Jet, Snijtech and many others. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Preparing Technical and Financial Offers of Equipment Packages and Boat Kits for all Requests and Tenders as well as Preparing Contracts for received project orders. • Planning and Estimating Cost Sheets for the offered products based on the sales strategy along with Controlling Cost and Checking for Margin Status updates for ongoing projects and orders. • Planning, Conducting & Controlling Procurement and Managing Communications and Negotiations with all Foreign Suppliers including the following: o Conducting Technical Specifications and Commercial terms review for the offers of the foreign suppliers, to be able to provide the suitable requested product matching the customer’s needs. o Managing Technical, Commercial and Price Comparisons between the products of different suppliers to determine which product is the most suitable. • Project Management during the complete boat building period or equipment package delivery which mainly includes: o Managing the foreign material lists and purchases for the project as well as communication with foreign suppliers. o Controlling Scope, Schedule & Budget while Ensuring that the contractual terms & conditions are met. o Providing assistance for the Field Operations Department. • Conduct Sales support, Technical assistance and Negotiations with the customer to ensure the success of the sales deal. • Assist the Sales Department with the Business Case Study, Strategic Planning, Historical Information & Lessons Learned Reporting and Potential Competitor Research.
