• Job Details:- Designed a 6 Degrees of Freedom robotic arm that mimics the ABB 4600 robotic arm via SolidWorks. The end-effector was designed to grasp and release multi-packages using pneumatic suction tools. - Implemented Low level control that focused on each joint individually regardless of the overall behavior using Proportional Integral Derivative controller PID. - Improved the control of the robot manipulator by introducing high level control that consider the overall behavior to follow a specified trajectory using Fuzzy Logic Control FLC, an Artificial Intelligence technique. - Designed the palletizing system layout in terms of robot position and conveyors orientation and their feeding rate via Visual Components. - Successfully optimized the palletizing rate in comparison to manual palletizing rate by almost the double. In addition to elimination of human labor that resulted in lower variability. - Recommended future work for successive colleagues to improve the system including Image Processing for better precision and Integrating the system with an automated wrapping system.
