• Job Details:I went through different departments in the company these are: PCS (Planning, Control and Scheduling), Cost estimate, Quality Control and Safety. The cost estimate department gave us a task which involved pricing a BOQ, so I contacted different suppliers where I obtained the prices for the BOQ. The project manager showed us different documents and drawings concerning the project. The Safety Department gave us a session towards the end of my placement in the office before we were placed on the site. the site training was with RedCon. The main objective was to observe the construction engineer while doing checks and supervising the work. sometimes he would ask us to go and supervise some of the works that were done and report back to him.
