• Job Details:•Coordinate and arrange shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. •Negotiate competitive rates and favorable payment terms with shipping lines, optimizing cost-efficiency. •Approve bookings for container and freight pick-up, overseeing end-to-end shipment coordination. •Manage shipment logistics from origin to warehouse delivery, ensuring smooth operations throughout the process. •Review and sign off on shipping documents, verifying accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance. •Notify consignees and customers of shipment arrivals, arranging for prompt delivery to final destinations. •Ensure compliance with export regulations for all equipment and materials, minimizing the risk of non-compliance. •Manage documentation, processes, and controls related to freight payments, audits, and system updates. •Prepare and verify customs, insurance, and packing documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations. •Advise clients on optimal transportation methods and payment options to streamline operations. •Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices, to facilitate smooth transportation. •Actively acquire new accounts and strengthened relationships with existing clients to expand business.
