Achieving team partnership between Ireland development lab and Cairo after a successful project with Ireland lab in the US with FTM (Financial Transaction Manager), one of the tools developed by the Irish team with skills solely present in Ireland, the development team in Cairo, technically lead by me was considered part of the extended Irish services team, the only one outside of Ireland. Achieving IBM’s first customer reference in Morocco for middleware while working onsite in CIH bank in Morocco along with a competitor, who was already well established at the client site. I and the team I am leading were able to gain the client’s trust and appreciation for IBM’s role in the project beforehand, and then after the project delivery, he agreed to be the first IBM reference in Morocco for middleware.
