• Job Details:• Maintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it. • Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with and maintaining the legal interactions with them. • Collate purchase orders (materials, goods, and supplies) and send them to the suppliers. • Interact with the suppliers and other company’s representatives on a daily basis. • Review deliveries and match them with the orders. (handle the shipping process) • Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged or nearly expired goods. • Ensure all invoices are sent to accounts for payment. • Liaison with other departments, particularly the accounting and stock departments. • Maintaining and updating the stock room for near expiry dates or non-used items.
