• Job Details:Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process from farm to international delivery. Ensure the timely and efficient sourcing, handling, packaging, and transportation of fresh produce. Export Operations: Manage all export procedures including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international regulations. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and inspection authorities. Logistics Planning & Optimization: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, time, and product freshness. Monitor cold chain integrity throughout the logistics cycle. Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with farmers, packaging suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth operations. Negotiate contracts and evaluate vendor performance. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Supervise storage, inventory control, and handling of fresh products. Ensure proper hygiene and quality standards in line with export requirements. Team Management: Lead and train logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficiency and accountability. Monitor daily operations and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all shipments meet destination country requirements, including phytosanitary and food safety standards. Implement and monitor HACCP, Global GAP, and other certification protocols. Cost Control & Reporting: Manage logistics budgets and control operational costs. Generate reports on shipments, delays, losses, and propose improvements. Customer & Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to clients regarding shipment status. Handle complaints or issues related to delivery, quality, or timing.
