• Job Details:The Media & Communications officer, works under the supervision of Deputy Director to expand the range of beneficiaries from Culture Resource programs and services, also to increase public awareness of its activities and achievements. Responsibilities: Media and Publicity: 1. Developing and executing media and publicity plan for the organization. 2. Prepare promotional material for programs and events. 3. Write press releases for events, programs and disseminate it via email and supervision of its dissemination via other communication medium (fax, phone, mail, etc...). 4. Contact journalists for the coverage of the organization events. 5. Organizing interviews with journalists and televisions for events coverage as well as press conferences 6. Overseeing the organization's digital presence on different sites, cultural forums and social media outlets 7. Compilation and Archiving all press pieces written about cultural resource and sending it to the General Assembly. 8. Get Media Sponsors for festivals. 9. Ensuring that all the organization's events are documented 10. Responsible for publicity materials, which includes the organization brochure, flyer, personal cards and other prints Website and e-newsletter: 1. Preparing and translating all the website content and updates 2. Update the website content 3. Overseeing the newsletter designs and visual identity 4. Updating newsletter mailing lists continuously 5. Preparing and translating the content of the e-newsletter and sending it to different mailing lists.
