• Job Details:o In contact with several departments (e.g. engineering, housekeeping, etc.) to arrange POs based on their requirements o Surveying foreign markets to identify new suppliers, if needed o Negotiating for the most competitive prices and quality standards o Preparing and reviewing PIs o Sending the agreed upon PIs to financial departments o Ensuring that payment procedures have already started o Reviewing payment (T/T and LC) forms and drafts, and ensuring their clauses’ accuracy in correspondence with the PIs o Following payment transfers and forwarding swifts (T/T or LC) to the suppliers o Following up on purchased items production o Arranging shipping procedures upon readiness of orders o Reviewing shipping documents o Tracking shipments and documents o Alerting the clearance dept. about each shipment’s estimated arrival o Sending agents’ debit notes to the fin.
