• Job Details:Invite, assess, and award/recommend subcontractor tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals. ● Review contract doc. for client requirements and execute the design works within its scope. ● Controlling the purchasing budget. ● Get quotations, make comparisons whatever needed to finalize contracts, PO's. ● Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions. ● Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving subcontractor performance. ● Issuing Purchase orders through the ERP and insuring the delivery at the proper time. ● Procure all necessary materials needed for the construction site on a daily basis this might include raw materials such as iron, steel, aluminum or plastics, tools and machines. ● Receiving these materials at the best possible price in order to maximize profitability, communicate with alternative vendors, negotiate better pricing for bulk orders or investigate the possibility of procuring cheaper materials from Alternative sources as a part of the daily activities. ● Handle all of the paperwork involved with purchasing and delivery of supplies and materials, and ensure timely delivery of materials from vendors. ● Generate and tracks purchase orders and works alongside the receiving department and the accounts payable department to ensure that promised deliveries were received in full and are being paid for on time. ● Follow up with the warehouse the deliveries from the suppliers to be booked on the system. ● Maintain and update annually standing lists of registered tenderers required by the procuring entity. ● Making and Contacting suppliers and site Consultant to finalize approved Material Submittals. ● Quantity surveying based on the drawings. ● Checking material quality to be compatible with the specs. ● Translate clients and end-user’s requirements into concept designs with the project team. ● Follow up with assigned external designers for the submission on proper time. ● Follow up with Government Authorities for Project Approval and permit. ● Coordinate with projects activities as per customer client’s requirements. ● Take appropriate corrective actions whenever significant variations are identified. ● Manage resources Designers, Consultants, etc. to achieve contract completion within budget and time. ● Resolving disputes and claims with subcontractors and suppliers. ● Preparing high-quality tender documentation and contracts.
