An overview of the duties & responsibilities that I am handling: General Manager Role: • Taking a leading role in commencing and following other Chairman’s projects internationally specially in UAE-Fujairah, South Africa, Morocco, Georgia, Somalia Land, and Iraq. • Having all the authority to be a decision maker in aspects of procurement, logistics, financials, production and Marketing. • Managing all company’s Departments with strong reporting system to assure work flow and quality. • Plans, and execute the company’s mission and vision side by side with the whole team. • Managing over 4 directors with their subordinates. • CEO Assistant Role: • Reporting directly to the CEO, providing executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. • Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. • Attending confidential meeting and taking minutes of meeting then translating it to an action plan. • Planning and attending important related to the field international exhibitions like Middle East World Tobacco Exhibition taking place in Dubai world Trade Center yearly, LAS Vegas TPE fair, Dortmund Tobacco Exhibition in Germany, beside the local Exhibitions. • Supervising and acting on behalf of the CEO in different subjects (Financially-Legally) • Lead a team of finance and legal to execute Due Diligence for the company. • Serves as a liaison to the CEO; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. • Working independently on projects, from conception to completion, and handling a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. • Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, schedules, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings. • Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time and office. • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. • Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response. • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff. • Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. • Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have organizational impact. • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company. • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
