As Field account Superintendent:

• Responsible for handling logistics activities according to our tender span with SGM mainly in ocean import operations, Supervising air operations and warehousing activities in Alexandria and Cairo
• Responsible for securing low rates with lowest transit time with different carriers and Co-loaders for longest possible period of time to be compatible with our tender rates and to monitor and do this task regularly
• Responsible for securing Lowest possible FOB charges with our agents all over the world to be compatible with our tender rates
• Responsible for responding to our client inquiries
• Responsible for Expediting process with our client suppliers all over the world (Expediting process is a process in which GAC follows up with SGM suppliers estimated time of orders readiness, final dimensions and weight to select MOT based on priority and final weight and dimensions
• Responsible for receiving and handling all ocean inquires ( booking, follow up and updating our client )
• Responsible for receiving all Air inquiries and supervising our AIR team and working as a backup for them
• Handled special equipments shipments (Flat racks, Open tops)
• Assisting in handling Export general cargo shipment
• Responsible for daily updating and sending a report showing all SGM shipments details
• According to the urgency and time sensitivity nature of the imported items in the site, Our responding should be always very fast with different options to our client
• Responsible for solving any problem that may arise during our work

Warehousing Activities:

• As per our tender GAC responsible for receiving local items from SGM local suppliers at our Alexandria and Cairo warehouses and receiving all returned items from Marsa Alam site, We are responsible for supervising and over viewing this operations to make sure all in order and prepare 8 warehouses reports (4 for Alexandria and 4 for Cairo showing all movements of local and returned items)

• Preparing invoices between us and our client and invoices between our client and their clients.

• Prepare documents needed by our client for each shipment and send it to their clients if needed.

• Close our files.

• During our work we are responsible for :-

1. Build long-term relationship with our client and our agents.
2. Provide our client with superior customer service and make them satisfied.
3. Respond to our client further inquires.

1- Handling import shipments routed by GAC Egypt (EX-WORK & FOB) from the client's inquiry till delivery of the shipment along with Our Sales team:

• Send the inquiry to our overseas agents and wait for the quotation.
• Compare ocean freight rates from our agents from abroad carriers and co-loaders with our rates secured by us from carrier's and co-loaders' local offices at Egypt and choose the better one.
• Our sales team then quotes our clients and follows up the client approval.
• Follow up agents to make sure that the orders have been booked on the first available vessel with the least transit-time, and make sure that all documents needed by our clients and other shipping documents are duly prepared to guarantee smooth delivery to the ultimate consignee.
• Updating our clients with their shipments status step by step.
• Finally provide our clients with the release letter against the right documents.


2- Handling import shipments routed by our overseas agents (CIF) :

• Receive shipping documents from our agents.
• Check all the documents to make sure all of them are duly prepared to guarantee smooth delivery to the ultimate consignee.
• Open hard copy and soft copy for the shipments.
• Updating our clients with their shipments status step by step.
• Finally provide our clients with the release letter against the right documents.

3- Handling and managing Shipper's own ISO TANKS Business (Import & Export) :

• Receive the export inquiry from our agents.
• Compare ocean freight rates from our agents from abroad carriers with our rates secured by us from carrier's local offices at Egypt and choose the better one.
• Arrange for the booking with the carrier with lowest cost and least transit time and get the shipping order.
• Prepare the needed documents (HB/L, certificate of origin, EURO 1, and so on).
• Make sure the tanks are duly maintained and clean.
• Sending the tanks to the shipper premises on time, then make sure that the tanks have been shipped on the nominated vessel.

4- Responsible for documentation, Invoicing, following up ETA and releasing of all Ocean shipments related to Sukari Gold Mines

5- Responsible for preparing Invoices and closing our files.

6- responsible for :-

• Providing our clients with superior customer service (direct contact & telephone contact).
• Building successful long-term relationships with our Agents.
• Maximizing our profit and at the same time keeping our clients satisfied.
